Our Story
Established in 2021, Kids of Grace started as a church ministry dedicated to homeschooling families. By 2023, it had grown into an independent organization. Each year, Kids of Grace supports hundreds of children and their families through its two campuses in Lake Oswego and Oregon City, as well as various sports and enrichment programs. We are honored to partner with Christian families, providing an educational foundation rooted in Christ and His Word to foster students' intellectual development, physical growth, and character building.
Our Vision
Kids of Grace is dedicated to supporting Christian families who seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. We provide high-quality educational options, distinctly Christian enrichment programs, and family-friendly sports leagues that honor God. Academic excellence is a key priority as we aim to nurture students in wisdom, maturity, and a deep love for Jesus and others. The authority and sufficiency of the Bible is the foundation for our educational and character development programs. We affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ and proclaim the Gospel's transformative power in everything we do so that the families and students we serve may be equipped to live for God's glory.
OUR PURPOSE
Kids of Grace was created to address the growing need for distinctly biblical academic, educational enrichment, and sports programs that enable parents to remain the primary influencers in their children’s lives while prioritizing family and faithfulness to Christ and His Word. We offer three educational pathways, allowing families to choose the best fit for their situation, alongside year-round sports programs. Our offerings are grounded in Christian values, emphasize family, and encourage active parental involvement.
To build a biblical worldview through a distinctly Christian education, the mission at Kids of Grace Academy is to:
Equip students with a firm understanding of God and His Creation by striving for academic excellence and biblical literacy, ensuring they graduate with a well-rounded education.

Timber Academy prepares students to thrive in their academic and spiritual lives, as they develop into responsible, thoughtful, and faith-driven individuals.
Kids of Grace Academy - Hybrid School
Timber Academy offers a unique hybrid educational model that blends the benefits of on-site learning with at-home education. This thoughtfully designed approach combines the best elements of homeschooling and private schooling within a supportive community. Beginning with a strong foundation in the early years, our program builds towards fostering critical thinking and intellectual growth as students progress through their academic journey.
Students attend in-person classes three days a week at our Lake Oswego campus while completing at-home learning for the remaining two days, providing flexibility and balance in their education.
Kids of Grace Homeschool Co-op
We offer a homeschool co-op program to support families seeking an enriching educational opportunity emphasizing strong friendships, hands-on activities, and a supportive Christian community.

Kids of Grace Sports and Elevate Sports
Our sports program is thoughtfully designed to teach children the fundamentals of various sports within a nurturing and family-friendly environment. We emphasize:
Athletic Skill Development: Children learn the fundamentals of each sport, improving their physical abilities and understanding of the game.
Character Building: Biblical principles are integrated into every aspect of the program, encouraging children to grow in qualities such as integrity, perseverance, and teamwork.
Faith-Based Values: Each sport incorporates teachings that help children develop a deeper love for Christ, applying their faith to everyday life.
Family-Oriented Approach: Our program is designed to complement family life, ensuring a balance between athletic growth and family time.

Afterschool Activities and Programs

Our afternoon offerings include engaging courses in:
Theater: Opportunities to express themselves through performance.
Baking: Learn delicious recipes and cooking techniques.
STEM: Sparks curiosity in science, technology, engineering, and math, and physical education, promoting fitness and teamwork.
Choir: Develop musical skills and voice through group singing.
Gardening: Learn about nature and plant care while fostering environmental awareness.

These electives provide a fun and educational way for children to grow beyond the classroom.

It is the conviction of Kids of Grace that the beliefs detailed in the doctrinal statement are faithful representations of the Bible’s teaching on these matters. Parents and students must agree to support Kids of Grace in teaching in accordance with the doctrinal statement. For all students, their teaching parent must be a member (or the equivalent) of an evangelical, bible-believing church.
