HIGH SCHOOL
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
Psalm 1:3
About Timber Academy
-
The finish line is in sight! Families must finish strong regarding their students' education. While high school students operate more independently than younger children, families must stay actively engaged in their students’ education. The high school student will still be responsible for doing most of their work at home.
Scope & Sequence
Our comprehensive educational plan will equip parents with the tools they need to take control of their student’s education. Knowing the end destination helps dictate the steps required to excel.
-
Graduation Track
Students who register in the Grad Track will automatically be enrolled in all the core classes. Their curricula will be predetermined, and the guesswork on what to take and when will be removed. The benefit of the Grad Track is that it allows families to register their students for our comprehensive enrollment and trust that they are on the right path to graduation.
Auditing Option
Families who don’t want to take the Grad Track can audit an individual class. Auditing a class provides an opportunity for families to enrich their academic interests and needs without impacting their GPA. While Timber Academy will keep records of courses taken by those auditing the class, we will not write official transcripts or give official grades.
Auditing the class does not remove any academic rigor or at-home requirements. It means the class is taken independently of a graduation program or any other class. Families will be required to create the transcripts for prospective colleges or programs for classes audited. Prerequisite transcripts or proficiency tests may still be necessary to enroll in specific courses.
-
Teachers
Teachers will be specialized and assigned per subject at the high school level rather than per grade. The teacher is responsible for lesson planning for each class period and managing the pace of lessons throughout the year. They will coach and tutor the students as necessary and reasonable. Additionally, teachers will partner with and communicate with the parents and students to ensure academic and spiritual success.
Tuition Pricing
-
The Graduation Track is $3000 per year and includes the following classes:
- 1 Math
- 1 Writing
- 1 Social Science
- 1 Literature
- 1 Science
- 1 Academic Elective
-
$550 for the year

Diploma Program
Coming 2025-26! We are developing a program allowing families to fully enroll with Kids of Grace Academy and graduate with a high school diploma. In doing this, families will waive their home school status at graduation. However, it does not change the engagement required at the end of the family.
Class Auditing (A la carte)
Families who don’t want to take the Grad Track can audit an individual class.
