Who Disciples Your Kids?

God has called and equipped you as Christian parents to be the principal agents of discipleship in your kids’ lives. Part of discipleship means being in control of your children's education and influences. There is no neutral ground. Our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). If you are not intentionally driving discipleship, someone else will. Parents need to be at the helm of their kids’ education. This doesn’t necessarily mean homeschooling is the answer or the right fit for your family. However, it is important for every parent to take inventory of who is teaching, molding, and influencing their kids.

The entire process of parenting can be overwhelming, hard, and downright discouraging. You might feel that the idea of navigating schooling or discipleship might be the straw that breaks your back. Be encouraged! God has put these kiddos in your family, in this place, and at this point in history. God will give you the strength you need to fulfill the task he has assigned.

Kids of Grace wants to come alongside of you by providing educational opportunities and support. Additionally, we want to build out an alternative way of approaching education that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and strengthens the family and supports the church.

There’s of work to do. I want to reiterate that this is all in the Lord’s timing and can only happen through his will. We don’t want to be presumptuous in our planning, but we want to diligently move in the direction we sense the Lord is moving. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us that we plan our way, but the Lord establishes our steps. We are planning while trusting in the Lord for direction.

I hope you can join us on this journey!
